Pennsylvania State Police At Lewis Run Drug Possession Drug Possession Accident

BRADFORD TWP (MCKEAN) - On December 8, 2023 at 6:54 p.m., PSP Lewis Run were on patrol at South Ave/evans Dr when they noticed a Title 75 violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that Melody Gardner, 30, of Ridgway, PA driving a 2013 Toyota Rav4 was in possession of a controlled substance.

SERGEANT TWP (MCKEAN) - On December 8, 2023 at 8:56 p.m., PSP Lewis Run were on patrol at Burning Well Rd/horner Rd when they noticed a Title 75 violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that Kimberly Dickey, 56, of Reynoldsville, PA driving a 2009 Ford Focus was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges to be filed through MDJ 48-3-04.

LIBERTY TWP (MCKEAN) - On December 9, 2023 at 1:50 a.m., PSP Lewis Run were on patrol at Birch Run Rd/rt. 155 when they noticed a Title 75 violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that Kajun Burdick, 29, of Friendship, NY driving a 2005 Chevy Silverado was under the influence of alcohol, rendering him incapable of safe driving. Charges were filed through District Court 48-3-02.

ELDRED TWP (MCKEAN) - On December 9, 2023 at 7:02 a.m., PSP Lewis Run responded to Rt. 446 east of Seal Ln to the scene of an accident. The crash occurred when Austin Freer, 18, of Port Allegany, PA driving a 2010 Chevy Traverse was traveling north on Rt. 446 when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve. The vehicle went off the road and struck a pass with care sign. The vehicle continued to travel along the road through the yard of property owner 2 then struck a small ditch and then struck a concrete post and poles of property owner 1. Freer was not injured and the vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
