Center News for the Week of January 8th to January12th
Brrr! The chilly winter weather is finally upon us. Warm up with us with some hot food, hot drinks and light exercise! This week, in addition to our regular events we have music from Dawn and Lou – Wednesday at 10:45AM! There is always something going on at the Kane Senior Center-all that is missing is YOU!! The Kane Senior Center-where the coffee is always hot and the conversation always lively! Our family is ready to welcome you!

• Monday, January 8th – Mango BBQ Chicken, Rice, Carrots and Fresh Fruit
• Tuesday, January 9th – Swedish Meatballs, Rice, Broccoli & Cauliflower, Pudding and Fruit
• Wednesday, January 10th – Lasagna, Tossed Salad, Green Beans, Italian Bread and Fruit
• Thursday, January 11th – Baked Fish, Mac & Cheese, Spinach and Mandarin Oranges
• Friday, January 12th – Pork Loin, Buttered Pasta, Vegetables and Pineapple

Walking Club
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 am, the seniors from the center will be headed out to walk at the Kane Community Center. Walking is almost the perfect exercise and it is so much fun to have some folks to walk with….why not join us today?

Did you know that every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am - 10:30 am, at the Kane Senior Center, you have an opportunity to exercise and make the plan to get into shape a reality? The folks that work out, led by Fern Throne are so dedicated to physical activity and would LOVE for you to join them. They work on the areas of balance, agility and strength training…all areas that are weakened as we grow older. Come and join in the fun!!! We would love to help you get on your way to a healthier, happier YOU!!

On Thursday, January 11th at 11:45 we will be sharing a joke or two. Do you love to laugh? We sure do and we are always looking for some funny, good clean jokes!!
Factual Fun
This week on Tuesday, January 9th we will be having some Factual Fun. We will be discovering 10 Brain Health Exercises Let's have some fun learning together!
“Dawn & Lou to Perform”
On Wednesday, January 10th our good friends Dawn & Lou Calabrese will be stopping by to perform for all of us. You won't want to miss this wonderful music by some wonderful friends!!
BINGO
On Friday, January 12th the members at the Kane Senior Center will be playing BINGO!!! The games start at 10:30 am. BINGO is available to all members of the Kane Senior Center. The 11 games start at 10:30 am so you might as well play BINGO and stay for lunch!!
