Girls split tri-meet
KANE - The Kane Lady Wolves track team split their trip-meet with Otto-eldred and Dubois Central Catholic with Kane defeating Otto 58-38 while Dubois Central defeated Kane 81-58.
Freshman Miley Geibel had a great day running a PR in the 300m hurdles in a time of 52.23 and bringing home first place. The 300 hurdles is one of the hardest races on the track and Miley as a freshman is really coming along in this tough and technical event. She also had a big jump in the triple jump of 34' 1/2” to win that event. Miley is very tough and very dedicated to her track events. Rowan Milliron continues her winning ways on the track as one of the premier distance runners in D-9 by winning the 3200m in a PR time of 12:24.08 and she finished second in 1600m with a PR time of 4:39.15.
Rowan is extremely dedicated to her running and dedicated her time through December, January & February to winter road runs and that dedication is paying off now. Hailey Hillman had a great day in the field winning the shot put and discus and finishing third in the javelin
