Welcome to our third issue of Kids First magazine, Golisano Children’s Hospital’s publication dedicated to the health and well-being of the children of Southwest Florida. Our passion and charge extend well beyond the walls of the hospital or our outpatient and physician practices and into the community.

That charge is to ensure that the children of Southwest Florida are given the opportunity to live the healthiest lives possible. We live this mission by creating access to world-class care and welltrained physicians who live and work in our community, and by providing educational avenues such as this publication so that parents and caregivers are equipped with the latest and most relevant information available.
