- Mark William Inman, age 84, of Seymour, Tennessee arrived in the glorious presence of Jesus on Thursday, April 11, 2024, following a brief illness. Mark’s greatest joy on earth was time spent with his family, dear friends, and his golf buddies. He eagerly anticipate­d meeting his Savior face to face and spent many hours listening to his favorite music in preparatio­n for that event. Mark was an active member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and was deeply rooted in Valley Grove where he was saved and served for many years. Preceded in death by his parents, James A & Mary Elizabeth Inman; siblings: Arthur Inman, Carl Inman, Horace Inman, Joyce Graham, and Gladys Berrier; great-grandson Elliott Mize; and in-laws, Dott and Susy Baker. Survivors include his devoted wife of 64 years, Suzanne Baker Inman; daughter, Melanie (Greg) Clark; sons, Mark Jr. “Butch” (Kristi), Bryan (Angie).

Affectiona­tely known as Papa to grandchild­ren Katie (Nathan) Mize, Mark Inman III, Elizabeth Bieri, Kristen (Doug) Bowling, Erin (Oz) Tabarez, Cory (Jennifer) Clark, Dallas (Sarah) Inman; great-grandchild­ren: Rayna and Melanie “Lanie” Bowling, Ruby Inman, Clark, Ian and Graham Mize, Bryar and Bridger Inman, and Harper Clark. Special in-laws, Vicki and Terry Wells, and Cindy and Phillip Ownby.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2024 with a celebratio­n service following at 4:00 PM at Valley Grove Baptist Church, with Chad Rittenhous­e officiatin­g. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM interment Monday, April 15, 2024 at Berry Highland South Cemetery, with grandsons serving as honorary pallbearer­s.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley Grove Building Fund, 9000 Seviervill­e Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
