Police investigate baby’s tragic death
Un bebé de ocho meses falleció el jueves en un hospital de Tulsa tras haber sido hallado boca abajo dentro de un balde en un complejo de departamentos del Oeste de la ciudad. El pequeño apareció sumergido en un balde con productos de limpieza al lado de su cama a las 9:30 de la mañana del lunes.
La madre del infante Heather Freeman fue quien halló el cuerpo de su niño, tras despertarse y ver que no estaba a su lado. La versión que dio a la policía es que fue un accidente, quizás alguno de sus otros hijos dejó el balde al lado de la cama y el pequeño cayó al agua mientras ella dormía.
Al verse imposibilitada de revivir a su niño la mujer llamó a EMSA quien lo transportó al hospital St.John, donde murió a las 6:49 de la mañana del martes 7 de marzo.
La tragedia tuvo lugar en los apartamentos Sandy Park emplazados al 6300 de la calle 11. Los otros niños de Freeman, un pequeño de 4 y mellizos de 2 años fueron removidos provisoriamente de la custodia de su madre mientras se investiga la sospechosa muerte del bebé. (La Semana)

An eight-month-old child died at a Tulsa hospital Tuesday, a day after it was found face-down in a mop bucket at a west-Tulsa apartment complex. The infant, a boy, was reportedly discovered submerged in mop bucket next to his bed at around 9:30 a.m. Monday morning.
The baby’s mother, Heather Freeman, found her son in the bucket when she awoke and he was not next to her. She told police she thought maybe one of her other children had pushed the mop bucket next to the bed, then the infant must have rolled off the bed and fallen into the water while she was sleeping.
When she was unable to revive the boy, EMSA transported him to St. John Hospital, where he died at 6:49 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7.
The tragedy occurred at the Sandy Park Apartments, 6300 West 11th Street.
Freeman’s other children, a 4-year-old and 2year-old twins, were removed from the house and police are investigating the baby’s death as “suspicious.” (La Semana)
