Tulsans Invited to Send Pictures of People and Places around Tulsa
ENGLISH
TULSA, OK – What do you love about living in Tulsa? Do you have a favorite park, festival, or local landmark? Perhaps a favorite food truck, lunch spot or bakery? Take a picture and your photo could be included in this year’s “This is Tulsa” video project.
In conjunction with National Community Planning Month in October, the City of Tulsa’s Planning and Development Department will host the 5th annual opportunity for Tulsans of all ages to snap and share images of people, places, events, landmarks and natural features around the city. This year’s theme is “Innovations in Planning,” so look for scenes of folks enjoying things that make the Tulsa community special.
Contributions will be collected and compiled into a video that will be displayed on the City’s website and electronic media channels including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube; see versions of “This is Tulsa” from 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 online at www.cityoftulsa.org/government/de partments/planning-and-development/planning/about/ncpm. Submitted photos may be used in publications, online and print.
Photos may be submitted throughout the month of October. Those who wish to participate should attach digital photos and a brief description of the location to an email and optionally include first and last name (or initial) and the submitter’s age. Please include the subject line “This is Tulsa 2017” and send to Addison Spradlin, aspradlin@cityoftulsa.org . All photos must be in a JPEG format and the file size may not exceed 10 MB.
Images submitted must be original and may not be taken from another source.
Participants agree to allow the City of Tulsa to use the photos for public use.
No compensation from the City of Tulsa to the photographer is associated with this activity.
The City of Tulsa reserves the right not to include photos deemed inappropriate to the “This is Tulsa” theme.
