Axel Uriegas's first feature about a fictional story, but based on real events, that recreates the second escape of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán. The film returns to the official inquiries about the flight and shows a hypothesis of the controversial escape occurred in July 2015, in the Maximum Security Prison of the Altiplano.
Produced by José Arroyo, who chose Uriegas as director of this film that is based loosely on the life of the drug trafficker and whose script written by Roberto Flores, who documented with public domain information between newspapers, the internet and social networks.

"El Chapo" is considered by the governments of Mexico and the United States as one of those responsible for thousands of deaths in the war against drug trafficking, which led to the persecution of the cartels by the government of former President Felipe Calderón.
