Hispanic American Foundation honors 15 scholarship winners
TULSA, OK – La Hispanic American Foundation realizó la gala de premiación de los 15 becarios el pasado jueves 7 de junio en el hotel Renaissance. Entre los ganadores y sus escuelas se encuentran:
Marisol Jaramillo, Rogers – The Alonso Family/HAF Scholarship; Ramon Duran, Union y Alejandro Flores, Booker T. Washington – The Bendana Family STEM/Business Scholarship; Evelyn Ramirez, Memorial – The John Javier Boria Memorial/HAF Scholarship; Carolina Regalado, Booker T. Washington – The Teresa Hellinghausen Scholarship; Ricardo Cortez, Union; Lillianne Knight, Broken Arrow, Erick Martinez, Union, Elizabeth Prado, Booker T. Washington, Kristina Rosinsky, Booker T. Washington, Christian Tadeo, Edison y Michaiah Smith, Booker T. Washington – The Lou & Connie Miller Charitable Foundation Scholarship; Jaden Derricott, Broken Arrow; Beatriz Perez y Joban Zepeda, both Booker T. Washington – QuikTrip Scholarship.
La ceremonia incluyó la presentación de los certificados de las becas, la presentación de los patrocinantes y el discurso de la graduada de la ORU, Jobana Ruiz, presentada por James Sanchez del Regent Bank.
Desde su comienzo en 1990, la fundación premió con más de $600.000 en becas a los estudiantes de la ciudad. Para financiar su proyecto la fundación realiza una gala pro año para recaudar fondos. La misma se realizará este 2018 el sábado 13 de octubre en el Southern Hills Country Club.

TULSA, OK -- The Hispanic American Foundation will host the 2018 Scholarship winners and their parents at its first Scholarship Awards Dinner on Thursday, June 7th, at the Renaissance Hotel.
Scholarship winners and their high schools are:

The evening will include presentation of Scholarship Certificates by Hispanic American Foundation Scholarship Partners and a speech by ORU graduate Jobana Ruiz, who will be introduced by James Sanchez of Regent Bank.
Since its inception in 1990, the Hispanic American Foundation has awarded more than $600,000 in scholarships to local students. In support of this mission, the Foundation holds one yearly fundraiser, Noche de Gala. This year the Gala is scheduled for Saturday, October 13, at Southern Hills Country Club.
