“Si comparamos donde estamos, creo que el equipo es mejor que el año pasado, nos enfocamos en las practicas a ensenar las técnicas apropiadas para defender.

Nuestro cuerpo técnico filma cada práctica y en los entrenamientos son quienes hacen las demostraciones a nuestros jugadores. Es crucial que sepamos cómo defender y esto es algo que nos enfocamos en cada práctica.” Comento Chad Morris.

Arkansas no cuenta con ningún jugador Latino para esta temporada. El año pasado, Santo Ramírez fue el único jugador de descendencia Latina que jugo para Los Jabalís. La última vez que Los Razorbacks contaron con un jugador Hispano de la región fue en la era de Alex Tejada; quien ayudo a Arkansas a ganar el Liberty Bowl.

Chad Morris no tienes los ojos puestos en el talento Latino de la región, su enfoque son otros. Morris llego de Texas y se enfoca mucho en esa región para encontrar talento que pueda permitirle competir en la SEC.

Oklahoma es la siguiente región inmediata donde Chad Morris se enfoca mucho para encontrar suplementos que no puedo obtener en casa, como es el caso Kamren Curl quien juega de defensa y es originario de Muskogee, Oklahoma. Curl es uno de los jugadores que tendrá que ser efectivo para Arkansas. Su experiencia podría ser muy esencial en la alineación titular de los Jabalís. Curl reafirma que este equipo está más unificado que el de la temporada pasada. “Este grupo es mejor en el sentido que nos conocemos más, y tenemos una idea clara de los que haremos en esta temporada. El ambiente en el camerino es mejor por la misma razón que nos conocemos mejor, y entendemos el esquema defensivo y ofensivo.” Concluyo Curl.

Arkansas abre ante la Universidad Estatal de Portland el próximo sábado 31 de Agosto a las 3 P.M. en el Estadio Donald W. Reynolds.

Arkansas does not have any Latino players for this season. Last year, Santo Ramírez was the only player of Latin descent who played for The Razorbacks. The last time The Razorbacks had a Hispanic player from the region was in the era of Alex Tejada; who helped Arkansas win the Liberty Bowl.

Chad Morris does not have his eyes on the Latin talent of the region, his approach is others. Morris came from Texas and focuses a lot in that region to find talent that can allow him to compete in the SEC.

Oklahoma is the next immediate region where Chad Morris focuses a lot to find players that he can't get at home, as is the case with Kamren Curl who plays defense back and is originally from Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Curl is one of the players that will have to be effective for Arkansas. His experience could be very essential in the starting lineup for Arkansas. Curl reaffirms that this team is more unified than last season. “This group is better in the sense that we know each other more, and we have a clear idea of what we will do this season. The environment in the locker room is better for the same reason that we know each other better, and we understand the defensive and offensive scheme. ”Curl concluded.

Arkansas opens against Portland State next Saturday, August 31st at 3 P.M. inside Donald W. Reynolds Stadium.
