Pedro Enamorado: a realist preacher

-

Today he is a man of God, and wants to spread the word for the needs of the 21st century.

“We live difficult times, times in which it seems there are more religions out there, because there are just too many groups, because we all believe we are the true owners of the truth,” he said, blaming the individualization for the distortion of religion. “There are religions that are sects, cults that follow people and not the gospel.”

Many souls in desperation seek solace in spirituality, but sometimes even religions need to be carefully chosen.

“In the path for transformation life shouldn’t be focused on a church, on a name, on a preacher or on the amount of people that go to service,” Enamorado said. “God gives us the confidence and the certainty that we are where we are supposed to so that we are not deceived.”

After years of non-stop studying and earning degrees in business administration and theology, Enamorado still felt incomplete until he heard the divine call.

“I realized my degrees were not providing me what I sought,” said the preacher. “It was something supernatural, a very personal experience. When I was young I refused to participate in evangelical services -- I despised them, even cursed them. I didn’t think there was a God out there to confront me, to tell me that life without Him was impossible.”

“I was a prisoner of my own frustrations, weaknesses, and failures,” Enamorado said of his past, the time when he felt he diligently addressed every task but was never fully satisfied. “I came to understand that what happened to me was a path I had to walk to get where got intended me to go.”

Today, his mission is to spread the gospel to those that have a lot of things, but still are lost and dissatisfied.

“I want to give back the divine grace that God has endowed me with,” he said with enlightenment.

As a preacher in the 21st century, Enamorado fosters inclusion and tolerance.

“The word of God does not condemn, it does not discriminate the one that wears tattoos from the one that does not,” he said as a metaphor for diversity. “Only the love of God can truly change the world, nothing else.”

For Enamorado life is an action film with a happy ending, and that is why he wants his services to spread the word of hope.

“The gospel should be what makes us wake up, even when we feel like not doing it, because God’s reality is larger than life.”

To all those out there looking for shelter in stormy weather Enamorado advises:

“God always finds us even if you don’t believe it, divine justice exists, you just need to pay attention.” (La Semana)
