BURRITO EN CAPAS horneado

Con capas de carne molida sazonada, queso derretido y tortillas calientes, este guiso de burritos será el tema principal de la mesa. Es una versión simple de los burritos clásicos: ¡solo coloca, hornea y disfruta!
Necesitas
1 libra de carne extramagra molida de res 1 pimiento (pimentón) rojo, 1 zanahoria grande y 1 cebolla grande, picados, 2 dientes de ajo, bien picados, 2 latas (14.5 oz cada una) de tomates en cubitos sin sal agregada, sin escurrir
2 tazas de salsa mexicana, 1 cucharadita de comino en polvo, 1 taza de granos de elote (maíz) congelados, 6 tortillas de harina (8 pulgs.), cortadas por la mitad, 1 lata (16 oz) de frijoles refritos, 1 paquete (8 oz) de queso estilo mexicano desmenuzado de cuatro variedades y con un toque de queso crema KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Four Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA
Hazlo
Calienta el horno a 400ºf. Dora la carne con el pimiento, la zanahoria, la cebolla y el ajo en una sartén grande antiadherente. Añade los tomates, la salsa y el comino; mezcla todo bien. Tapa la sartén; cocina, manteniendo un hervor suave durante 5 min. Retira la sartén del fuego. Incorpora los granos de elote a la mezcla.
Esparce 2 tazas de la mezcla de tomate sobre el fondo de una fuente para hornear de 13x9 pulgs.; pon encima 4 mitades de tortillas con los lados cortados hacia el costado de la fuente. Cubre esto con capas de la mitad de los frijoles, 2-1/2 tazas de la mezcla de tomate restante y 1/2 taza del queso. Repite las capas. Pon encima las tortillas, la mezcla de tomate y el queso restantes; tapa la fuente con una hoja de papel aluminio, rociada con aceite en aerosol.
Hornea de 35 a 40 min. o hasta que esté completamente caliente; recuerda quitar el papel aluminio durante los últimos 5 min. Deja reposar el horneado 5 min. antes de cortarlo para servir.

What You Need
1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef, 1 each red pepper, large carrot and large onion, chopped, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1 can (28 fl oz/796 ml) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained, 2 cups salsa, 1 cup frozen corn 1 Tbsp. (about 1/4 of 35-g pkg.) taco seasoning mix, 6 large flour tortillas, cut in half 1 can (19 fl oz/546 ml) refried beans, divided, 2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Tex Mex Cheese, divided
Let's make it
Heat oven to 400ºf. Brown meat with peppers, carrots, onions and garlic in large nonstick skillet. Add next 4 ingredients; mix well. Cover; simmer 5 min. Remove from heat. Spread 2 cups tomato mixture onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; top with 4 tortilla halves, with cut sides of tortillas facing sides of dish. Cover with layers of half the beans, 2-1/2 cups of the remaining tomato mixture and 1/2 cup cheese. Repeat layers. Top with remaining tortillas, tomato mixture and cheese; cover with sheet of foil sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 35 to 40 min. or until heated through, uncovering for the last 5 min. Let stand 5 min. before cutting to serve.
