Windows 10X, la próxima versión del sistema operativo de Microsoft, será lanzada este año y un periodista del sitio The Verge, el editor Tom Warren, ha compartido un video breve en donde expone la construcción casi final del software. Allí se ve el inicio de sesión en esta versión, la pantalla principal y el menú.
La estética que muestra de Windows 10X es distinta a la de Windows 10. Es más simple y directa, con una barra inferior con cuatro iconos que permite abrir el menú de inicio, los ajustes, la tienda de Microsoft, el navegador y la ventana de notificaciones y ajustes rápidos.
Windows 10X fue presentado a finales de 2019, inicialmente como la versión de Windows 10 dedicada a la nueva categoría de producto de los dispositivos con dos pantallas, pero la compañía replanteó su desarrollo y anunció que iría destinado a nuevos equipos para aprovechar el potencial de la nube.
Había trascendido que su lanzamiento iba a ser junto con el de Surface Neo de Microsoft, un dispositivo similar a una tablet con dos pantallas separadas con pantalla de 9″, que se despliegan en un espacio de trabajo completo de 13“.
La compañía reveló el año pasado que están reelaborando Windows 10X para dispositivos de “pantalla única” como computadoras portátiles, y Surface Neo, que se ha retrasado. La compañía ha querido diferenciar durante bastante tiempo a Windows 10X de otros sistemas, pensándolo para hardware plegable y de doble pantalla.
