JIM CARREY AFFIRMED THAT HE IS RETIRING FROM ACTING:

The reasons and his new passion

-

In the same week that Bruce Willis was reported to be retiring from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia, Jim Carrey announced that he is taking a break from activity, which could be definitive.

“I retire”said the famous actor in an interview with the site Access Hollywood. Unless a “dream” and ideal project arises, the protagonist of Ace Ventura assured that they have no intention of continuing their prolific and successful career in Hollywood. “I love to paint,” he revealed.

At 60, the star of Liar Liar has opened up about his career and said he’s pretty much done with it as he clarified he could only reconsider a comeback if you receive calls from figures like, for example, Dolly Parton.

“I’m retiring and I’m serious”, the actor insisted outlining a slight smile. And he clarified that he would only get back in front of a screen “If the angels bring some kind of script written in gold ink, tell me that it will be very important for people to see it”. “So I could do it,” she added, “but the truth is that I’m taking this break seriously.”

Carrey explained that he currently enjoys, and a lot, the “quiet life” and recreational activities such as painting. “I really like my relaxed life. I love putting paint on canvas and I really love my spiritual life and I feel like, and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say, I’ve done enough.”

As for the possibility of working with country legend Dolly Parton, after being warned by interviewer Kit Hoover about the singer’s intention that he be the one to play her “musical partner” Poter Waggoner in a biopic of his life , the actor was delighted with the idea. “For me Dolly is a being from another world, bigger than you can imagine”said.
