Two quilt blocks to add to the LCQT

“Mantle Memories”, has been added to the Lake County Quilt Trail.

The 4’x4’ block has been installed on the Totorica Plumbing, Inc. building at 4230 Main Street, Kelseyvill­e, CA 95451. This block was purchased at auction for Tango Mike by Vicki Totorica.

This location for “Mantle Memories” was the home of Vicki’s grandparen­ts, Don and Hulda Mantle. Hulda had a beautiful backyard flower garden which featured several varieties of roses and pink lilies known as Pink Ladies.

“Courthouse Steps”, has been relocated on the Lake County Quilt Trail.

The 8’x8’ block has been installed on the Skylark Shores Resort, 1120 N. Main Street, Lakeport, CA 95453, which is on the edge of beautiful Clear Lake with breathtaki­ng views of Mt. Konocti.

Skylark Shores Resort is open to all recreation­al/vacationin­g guests. They are following CDC guidelines for COVID 19 to ensure the safety and peace of mind for their guests.

The LCQT is an agricultur­al and tourism project designed to promote community pride. The 8’x8’ quilt block was drawn and painted by the Lake County Quilt Trail team.

LCQT has the distinctio­n of being the first quilt trail in California. It was started by Marilyn Holdenried in 2010.
