"Jerald Marquis,

-

born January 10, 1943, passed away in his sleep on June 5, 2022. Jerald Marquis was a long time Santa Rosa resident, graduating from Santa Rosa High School as part of the Class of 1960. After working at his father’s wrecking yard, ACME Auto Wreckers, he would eventually open up his own Auto Body Repair Company, Jerald Marquis Auto Body. He would own this business for over forty years, participating in many clubs and organizations such as the California Auto Body Association, the Twenty-Thirty club and Rotary. After retirement and moving to Lake County, he continued this participation through Kelseyville Rotary, the Lake County Historical Society, the Master Gardeners program and the Clearlake Trowel and Trellis Club. He leaves behind sons Jerald Jr., Christopher, Jonathan and Timothy, daughter Tara, siblings Mike, Cherie and Pat. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He now joins his beloved wife of over twenty years, Anna Jordan Marquis, now and forever. A celebration of life will be taking place on the 19th of March at the Beautiful Ely Stage Stop Historical site in Kelseyville, CA. This place was special to Jerald as he oversaw landscaping projects for the property for a few years later in life. We ask that if you would like, you may bring a bottle of wine that reminds you of him or one you would think he may have enjoyed, as his taste in fine wine was something that he loved to share with others.
