SW apartments in southwest valley
New complex offers fitness center, coffee bar, e-lounge and media room
Walking into the clubhouse at SW apartments off the 215 Beltway at South Durango Drive, it’s clear that this isn’t your average apartment complex.
“It has a unique, fresh and fun mix of contemporary with an eclectic feel,” said interior designer Diane Whiting. “It has every element in it.”
Whiting is responsible for the red, white and black color scheme of SW’s clubhouse, which houses a fitness center, coffee bar, e-lounge and media room.
Residents at the 310-unit complex, which debuted in November, can rent bicycles and take their pet to the pet park and wash. Soon they’ll also be able to swim in the complex’s pool, watch television in the outdoor cabana or have a barbecue at one of the outdoor grills.
SW offers one, two and three-bedroom units as well as a two-story, twobedroom townhome. Leases start at three months and range as long as 15 months. Cost ranges from $1,040 to $1,609 per month.
The one-bedroom model at SW features interior stairs leading up into the second-level apartment.
“One of the biggest architectural features of this complex is the fact that all upper units have stairs inside,” said Larry Tindall, SW’s residential designer and principal at GreeneTindall Southern Nevada Home Design. “It makes it feel more like a home.”
The kitchen boasts dual chrome pendant lights, an undermount stainless-steel kitchen sink and quartz countertops as well as a USB outlet, which can also be found in the bedroom.
“An undermount sink is almost unheard of in an apartment,” Whiting said. “Everything has an upscale look.”
Residents have the option of grey laminate flooring or carpet and each unit has a laundry room and comes with a 50-inch smart television.
