Namaste — Maverick Helicopters soars with HeliYoga at Valley of Fire
One of the most spectacular sights in America is 50 miles from Las Vegas. When the sun’s rays are reflected in the red sandstone formations, it appears as if the landscape is on fire. The 42,000 acres of Valley of Fire State Park are the oldest in Nevada and were designated a national natural landmark in 1968.
Now yoga lovers and helicopter aficionados have teamed up for a unique experience atop and inside the 150 million-year-old jagged walls and brilliant formations of eroded sand dunes. The peak, one of the highest in the state park, where the helicopter lands for yoga classes offers unsurpassed views.
