Walking tours salute the Summer of Love

It’s been almost 50 years since San Francisco celebrated the Summer of Love.

As a tribute to the iconic festival, a variety of walking tours will be available this summer to help re-create the classic event.

Take your pick from a variety of tours dedicated to the Beat Era, the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. The tours, which can vary in time and length, consist of carefully selected landmarks dedicated to the rock legends for which the walks are named.
