Wisconsin establishes Frank Lloyd Wright Trail
In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, his birth state of Wisconsin has established the first Frank Lloyd Wright Trail in the world. The trail covers several counties along the southern third of the state and highlights nine of Wright’s groundbreaking architectural creations.
Stops along the way include the SC Johnson Administration and Research Tower, the Burnham home in Milwaukee, which offers tours on select weekends, the Monona Terrace in Madison and the AD German Warehouse in Wright’s hometown of Richland.
The driving route begins on Interstate 94 at the Illinois state line in Kenosha County and ends almost 200 miles west in Richland County.
