Here’s to you, Mr. Robinson

Below, Dodger Stadium officials unveil the statue of Robinson stealing home, sculpted by New York-based artist Branly Cadet. Saturday marked the 70th anniversary of Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier. In presenting the statue, Dodgers president Stan Kasten said, “Every advancement in society has come from people standing on the shoulders of giants. And in the history of baseball, in the history of our country, few people have stood taller than Jackie Robinson.”
