‘An American in Paris’
Sunday marks your last chance to catch the timeless Gershwin songs — and the Tony-winning dances — featured in the stage version of “An American in Paris.” The musical, inspired by the 1951 Oscar winner starring Gene Kelly, wraps up its Smith Center run with two performances. The story revolves around the post-World War II romance between ex-GI and aspiring artist Jerry (Garen Scribner) and ballerina Lise (Sara Esty) in the City of Light.
