‘An American in Paris’

Sunday marks your last chance to catch the timeless Gershwin songs — and the Tony-winning dances — featured in the stage version of “An American in Paris.” The musical, inspired by the 1951 Oscar winner starring Gene Kelly, wraps up its Smith Center run with two performanc­es. The story revolves around the post-World War II romance between ex-GI and aspiring artist Jerry (Garen Scribner) and ballerina Lise (Sara Esty) in the City of Light.
