EXERCISE FOR A CAUSE 27th Annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas

Thousands are expected to get off the couch and support Southern Nevadans living with or affected by HIV by participating in the 27th Annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas.

Walkers can participate as an individual, start a team or join a team. More than 6,000 walkers strolled for the cause last year, raising $350,000. This year, organizers have set a goal of raising $450,000.

Penn & Teller will serve as the grand marshals of the event for the 16th straight year. Raise $250 and they’ll match anything you raise.

Founded in 1984, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) is the oldest and largest AIDS service organization in the state of Nevada. Over four thousand men, women and children infected with HIV are registered as clients with the agency.
