At Reno, Tanner Gueller passed for 269 yards and two touchdowns, and Michael Dean ran for 133 yards and a TD on five carries for the Bengals (2-1), who built a 30-7 lead and halted a 27-game losing streak against FBS opponents. Kaymen Cureton threw two touchdown passes to Wyatt Demps in a 153-yard fourth quarter by the Wolf Pack (0-3). A 2-point conversion attempt by UNR failed with 58 seconds left, and Matt Peterson recovered the ensuing onside kick for Idaho State.

At Laramie, Wyo., Royce Freeman ran for 157 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries and turned a screen pass into a 50-yard gain for the Ducks (3-0). Representatives from 16 NFL teams saw touted junior quarterback Josh Allen complete 9 of 24 passes for 64 yards and run for a 10-yard touchdown for the Cowboys (1-2).
