At Clemson, S.C., Kelly Bryant ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns, and freshman Travis Etienne had TD runs of 10 and 50 yards in the final six minutes for the Tigers (4-0, 2-0). The Eagles (1-3, 0-2) yielded only 38 yards of offense in the third quarter and entered the fourth in a 7-7 tie..

North Carolina State 27, No. 12 Florida State 21 —

At Tallahasse­e, Fla., Ryan Finley threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns, both to tight end Jaylen Samuels, for the Wolfpack (3-1, 1-0), who posted their first road win over a ranked team since 2008 and halted a 10-game skid to ranked teams. Auden Tate had nine catches for 138 yards and a touchdown for the Seminoles (0-2, 0-1).

No. 19 Louisville 42, Kent State 3 —

At Louisville, Ky., Lamar Jackson was 18 of 22 passing for 299 yards and two touchdowns and ran 13 yards for a score for the Cardinals (3-1), breaking Chris Redman’s program record of 87 total TDs. The Golden Flashes (1-3) were outgained 539-150 in yards of offense.

Georgia Tech 35, Pittsburgh 17—

At Atlanta, KirVonte Benson ran for 196 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries, and TaQuon Marshall added 112 yards rushing and two scores for the Yellow Jackets (2-1, 1-0), who totaled 436 yards on the ground. Georgia Tech lost four fumbles, but the Panthers (1-3, 0-1) scored no points off those turnovers.

No. 13 Virginia Tech 38, Old Dominion 0 —

At Blacksburg, Va., Josh Jackson threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns, and Steven Peoples scored on receptions of 17 and 43 yards and a run of 1 yard for the Hokies (4-0). Seventeen-yearold Steven Williams Jr. made his first start at quarterbac­k for the Monarchs (2-2) and was 8 of 26 passing for 85 yards.

Duke 27, North Carolina 17—

At Chapel Hill, N.C., Shaun Wilson ran 1 yard for the go-ahead touchdown midway through the fourth quarter, and cornerback Bryon Fields iced the outcome with a 61-yard intercepti­on return for a TD for the Blue Devils (4-0, 1-0). Chazz Surratt ran 56 yards for a touchdown and threw a 28-yard scoring pass to Davis Koppenhave­r for the Tar Heels (1-3, 0-2).

ran for 204 yards and a TD on 11 carries for the Hurricanes (2-0), who hadn’t played in three weeks. Logan Woodside threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns for the Rockets (3-1), who scored the first 16 points and led 16-10 at intermissi­on.

Wake Forest 20, Appalachia­n State 19 —

At Boone, N.C., wide receiver Scotty Washington blocked Michael Rubino’s 39-yard field-goal try with five seconds left to save the Demon Deacons (4-0). Taylor Lamb threw for 372 yards and two touchdowns for the Mountainee­rs (22), who had an extra point blocked, missed a 35-yard field goal and jumped offside on a fourth-and-4 punt that led to a Wake Forest TD.
