Baylor 41 — At Waco, Texas, Baker Mayfield threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score on the next snap after his unsportsma­nlike conduct penalty, as the Sooners (4-0, 1-0) stretched the nation’s longest win streak to 14 games. Abdul Adams had a 99-yard TD run for Oklahoma, which amassed 634 yards of offense. The Bears (0-4, 0-1) led 31-28 after Connor Martin’s 46-yard third-quarter field goal. ■ Texas Tech 27, Houston 24 — At Houston, Nic Shimonek passed for 321 yards and two touchdowns, and Keke Coutee had 11 catches for 161 yards and a score for the Red Raiders (3-0), who halted the Cougars’ nation-best 16-game home win streak. Backup quarterbac­k Kyle Postma threw for 100 yards and a TD and ran for 52 yards and a score for Houston (2-1), which had won seven straight games

against teams from Power 5 conference­s. ■ No. 16 Texas Christian 44, No. 6 Oklahoma State 31 — At Stillwater, Okla., Darius Anderson ran for 160 yards

and three touchdowns for the Horned Frogs (4-0, 1-0), who ran 52 times for 238 yards. Mason Rudolph threw for 398 yards and two touchdowns with two intercepti­ons for the Cowboys (3-1, 0-1), and James Washington caught six passed for 153 yards and a touchdown.

West Virginia 56,

Kansas City 34 — At Lawrence, Kan., Will Grier threw for 347 yards and two touchdowns and had two 3-yard TD runs, David Sills V had 130 yards receiving and two TDs, and Kennedy McKoy ran for two scores for the Mountainee­rs (3-1, 1-0). Sophomore Khalil Herbert ran for 291 yards and two touchdowns for the Jayhawks (1-3, 0-1).
