He was the neighborhood newspaper delivery person for four years, played the cello in middle school, played soccer, baseball and even tried football in high school. At the same time, he trained at the Bellingham Academy of Self Defense, earning his black belt, before graduating from high school. Ethan joined the U.S. Marine Corps reserves immediately after graduating from high school. After achieving his bachelor’s degree, Ethan decided to go on a three-month backpacking trip. He ventured up the East Coast of Australia, including Singapore and Thailand. There, Ethan earned his diving certificate and met so many people from around the world and continued to keep in touch. Ethan would describe his experience, “It was the best time of my life!!” Ethan started his career in 2011 as an accountant in Las Vegas. In 2012, he started his career at Caesars Entertainment Corporation as an accountant and later promoted to an Analyst in Hospitality Analytics. Ethan has touched the heart of so many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, great sense of humor and full of laughter. We will miss him dearly and he will be forever in our hearts.
