Chase Claypool had nine catches for 180 yards for Notre Dame. Virginia Tech 10 — At Miami Gardens, Fla., Malik Rosier threw for two touchdowns and ran for a score to overcome three intercepti­ons for Miami (8-0, 6-0), which held a 429-299 edge in yards of offense while extending the nation’s longest current win streak to 13 games.
