IRIS SIMMONS

Iris W. Simmons, 99, went to be with our Lord September 13, 2017. She was born February, 28, 1918, in Casper, Wyoming. Iris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Col. Floyd Simmons. She leaves behind her cousin, Arlene Schaefer of Hillsboro, Oregon; extended family and many, many dear friends of Reno and Las Vegas. As per her wishes, private burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Casper, Wyoming, where she will join her husband, Floyd Simmons; parents, Ben and Hulda Weller; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson; aunt, Louise Johnson; and uncles, Elmer, Eddie and Pete Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to your favorite animal rescue foundation, “Iris, you will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, we love you.”
