STANLEY MADAY

-

Stanley Luis Maday, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully November 2, 2017, at Nathan Adelson Hospice. He was born October 2, 1924, to Stanley and Olga Maday, in Chicago, Illnois. Before retiring in California and moving to Las Vegas, Stanley was an accomplished lithographer and was a member of two international unions. He was responsible for designing many album covers for Frank Sinatra and other entertainers. Stanley loved traveling the world and enjoying the different foods of each country. He was a wonderful cook in the U.S. Navy and carried that passion in to civilian life. Stanley’s biggest pleasure was playing Bingo and was generous, always sharing his winnings with other residents of the Cottages and Life Care. We wish to convey many thanks to his friends of the Pacifica Cottages of Las Vegas on Robindale and the staff of Life Care on Harmon, especially Stanley’s final comfort home at Nathan Adelson Hospice on Swenson. No services are scheduled. Stanley’s wishes were to be cremated and his ashes sent back to his family resting place in West Virginia to be with the love of his life. May we all keep Stanley’s wonderful smile in our memory and keep him in our prayers, granting him eternal rest.
