■ John Wolford, Wake Forest, accounted for 499 yards and six TDs in a 64-43 win over Syracuse.

■ Will Grier, West Virginia, threw for 372 yards and four TDs and the No. 23 Mountainee­rs overcame their early mistakes to hold off Kansas State 28-23.

■ Lamar Jackson, Louisville, accounted for four TDs, 342 yards and became the first player in NCAA history to post two seasons with 1,000 yards rushing and 3,000 yards passing in a 3821 win over Virginia.

■ Rodney Anderson, Oklahoma, had 290 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns, as No. 5 Oklahoma rolled past No. 8 Texas Christian 38-20.

■ Malcolm Perry, Navy, ran for 282 yards with four TDs in his first start at quarterbac­k and backup kicker J.R. Osborn hit an 18-yard game-winning field goal as time expired to give the Midshipmen a 43-40 victory over Southern Methodist.

■ Dameon Baber, UNR, became the third player in NCAA history to have three TDs off returns in a 59-14 win over San Jose State.

■ Kerryon Johnson, Auburn, ran for 167 yards and caught a 55-yard touchdown pass and the No. 10 Tigers smothered No. 2 Georgia’s running game in a 4017 victory.

■ Jalen Hurts, Alabama, hit DeVonta Smith for a 26-yard touchdown pass with 25 seconds remaining to lift the No. 1 Crimson Tide over No. 18 Mississipp­i State 31-24.

■ Noah Johnson, Alcorn State, accounted for 419 yards and five TDs in a 59-0 win over Mississipp­i Valley State that clinched the SWAC East Division for a fourth straight season.

■ Jeremiah Briscoe, Sam Houston State, threw for 350 yards and five TDs in a 44-35 win over Abilene Christian.

■ Dominick Bragalone, Lehigh, ran for 201 yards and four TDs in a 34-21 win over Holy Cross.

■ Stanford 30, No. 9 Washington 22 —

At Stanford, Calif., Bryce Love ran for 166 yards and three touchdowns for the Cardinal (7-3, 6-2) against a defense ranked first nationally in yards allowed and second in scoring. The Huskies (8-2, 6-2) entered Friday having allowed only three TD runs all season. Myles Gaskin, who ran for 120 yards on 18 carries, capped Washington’s first two drives with TDs. But Stanford held a 12-minute edge in time of possession.

At Boulder, Colo., Sam Darnold threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score for the Trojans (9-2, 7-1), who clinched the Pac-12 South
