Penguins lose in return to Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Filip Forsberg scored the shootout winner to give the Nashville Predators a 5-4 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night in a Stanley Cup rematch.
Pittsburgh was last in Music City on June 11, when the Penguins beat the Predators in Game 6 to capture the Stanley Cup.

At Raleigh, N.C., Brandon Saad scored at 1:44 of overtime to help Chicago avoid a third straight loss. Alex DeBrincat scored two goals and Gustav Forsling had one for the Blackhawks.
■ Blue Jackets 2, Red Wings 1, SO —
At Detroit, Jack Johnson scored in the ninth round of the shootout and Columbus stopped a four-game losing streak. Detroit snapped a 12-game winning streak in shootouts.
At Phoenix, Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine each had a goal and an assist and Winnipeg bounced back one night after losing to the Vegas Golden Knights. Blake Wheeler had two assists.

At Stockholm, Mike Hoffman scored two goals to help Ottawa sweep Colorado in their two regular-season games in Sweden. Mark Stone and Johnny Oduya also scored for the Senators.
— At St. Louis, John Tavares scored early to start New York’s three-goal first period, Thomas Greiss stopped 35 shots and Islanders bounced back from a 5-0 loss at Dallas on Friday.

At Boston, Mitchell Marner and James van Riemsdyk each had a goal and an assist, Curtis McElhinney stopped 38 shots and Toronto completed a sweep of a home-and-home series with Boston.

At Montreal, Max Pacioretty scored at 3:08 of overtime and Montreal won for the fourth time in fives games. Charlie Lindgren made 34 saves for the Canadiens to improve to 4-1-0.
■ Rangers 4, Oilers 2 —
At New York, the Rangers used two second-period power-play goals to win their sixth straight. Rick Nash scored twice for New York and Mats Zuccarello picked up two assists.
■ Wild 1, Flyers 0 —
At Philadelphia, Jason Zucker scored his sixth goal in three games and Devan Dubnyk made 32 saves for his second straight shutout to give Minnesota its second straight win.
■ Devils 2, Panthers 1—
At Newark, N.J., Cory Schneider made 32 saves to help New Jersey snap a fourgame losing streak. Damon Severson and Kyle Palmieri scored for the Devils.
■ Sharks 5, Canucks 0 —
At San Jose, Calif., Logan Couture and Chris Tierney each scored twice and San Jose won for the fifth time in six games. Both of Tierney’s goals were unassisted.
