Blackhawks stay hot against Penguins

PITTSBURGH — Artem Anisimov scored a power-play goal in the third period, and the Chicago Blackhawks ROUNDUP won their eighth straight against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins with a 2-1 victory on Saturday night.

— At Los Angeles, Johnny Brodzinski scored his first NHL goal, and Andy Adreoff scored his first of the season to help Los Angeles end a four-game losing streak.

■ Predators 5, Avalanche 2— At Nashville, Tenn., Craig Smith had a goal and an assist and the Nashville beat Colorado for the eighth straight time.

■ Flames 5, Flyers 4, OT

— At Philadelph­ia, Michael Frolik scored 1:18 into overtime to give Calgary its sixth win in eight games.

■ Jets 5, Devils 2 — At Winnipeg, Manitoba, Patrik Laine, Jacob Trouba and Matt Hendricks scored in a 95-second span, and Winnipeg won its fourth straight.

■ Hurricanes 3, Sabres 1

— At Buffalo, N.Y., Sebastian Aho scored with 4:45 remaining to lift Carolina to its third straight win.

■ Maple Leafs 6, Canadiens 0 — At Montreal, Ron Hainsey and Nazem Kadri scored 37 seconds apart in the second period and Toronto won its sixth straight.

Columbia, Brayden Schenn scored with 2:19 remaining in overtime and St. Louis won its second straight.

OT— At Ottawa, Ontario, Anthony Duclair scored in overtime to complete a hat trick and Arizona earned its second straight victory.

— At Tampa, Fla., Anders Lee scored twice and New York held on to win after nearly blowing a four-goal lead.
