DORA HAFEN
Dora L. Hafen was called home by our Heavenly Father January 30, 2018. The youngest of nine children, Dora was born September 7, 1931, in Bunkerville, to Lemuel and Agnes Leavitt. Dora attended Virgin Valley High School and in her sophomore year met her sweetheart, Keith Hafen. Dora and Keith were married in 1948 and sealed in the temple in 1978. They shared 54 wonderful years together before Keith’s passing in 2002. Dora and Keith raised five children in Las Vegas. Their door was always open to family and friends. Dora enjoyed cooking, gardening and rocking her many grandbabies. Dora was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved unconditionally and was dearly loved in return. She will be deeply missed. Dora was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her husband. She is survived by her children, Keith (Diana), Kristine Linebarger (Daleray), Jerry (Dinah), Althea Owens (Ray) and Steve (Terri); 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and extended family. Viewing will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, February 9, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, at the LDS Chapel, 3300 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89129. Graveside service following at 2 p.m. at the Bunkerville Cemetery, 355 W. Virgin St., Bunkerville, NV 89007. Following graveside service, we will honor Dora at the Bunkerville LDS Chapel with family and friends.
