Ronald Dale “Bud” Dille, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away February 1, 2018. He was born July 4, 1928, to Alvin and Ruth Dille in Bemidji, Minnesota, and was a 53-year resident of Las Vegas. He was an active kid who served four years in the U.S. Navy and then married the love of his life, Marilyn, in 1950. He worked in the steel mill in Morgan Park in Duluth, Minnesota, until he moved his growing family to Las Vegas to become a police officer in 1964. He retired after working 20 years as a police officer and had a second job as a gardener to provide for his family. He loved to play golf, dance with his wife and travel around the world. He will be remembered as a hard worker who took care of his family and adored his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dena; brother, William; son, Alan; and daughters, Susan and Bonny. He is survived by his sister, Lois; brother, Phillip; wife, Marilyn; daughters, Barbara Wilson (John) and Amy Mockler (Ian); grandchild­ren, Crystal, Nick (Angie), Carrie, Liliana, Alden and Ethan; greatgrand­children, Devin, Chelsi, Alisiana and Claudia and great-great-grandchild­ren, Zayden and Lyla. Celebratio­n of life is will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, February 19, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101. The Rape Crisis Center of Southern Nevada has seen a steady increase in the number of survivors it has assisted over the past three years. The following numbers represent only those victims who elected to have a forensic sexual assault exam at a hospital.
