Sue Parmelee Pearson passed away August 3, 2017, at home, in no pain and with her best friend at her side, which was her long held wish. Sue was born April 17, 1947, in Burns, Oregon, but was raised in Boulder City, where she graduated from Boulder City High School. Sue attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a B.S. in Nursing in 1970. Her profession­al career began as a public health nurse with the Clark County District Health Department. IN 1977, she pursued her post graduate education at the University of North Dakota in the Family Nurse Practition­er/Physician Assistant program. After graduation in 1978, she was licensed as physician assistant-certified and spent the rest of her profession­al career practicing in various specialtie­s, including obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, family practice and emergency medicine. Sue was very proud to be a physician assistant and to be able to help people achieve better health and wellness. After retiring, Sue pursued her interests in travel, crafts and knitting until her health limited her activities. She loved her cats and they were her faithful companions until her death. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Thelma Parmelee; and her older brother, Fredrick. She is survived by her brother, Charles, his wife, Marylyn and their children, Pollyann, her husband, Michael and their children, Dominic and Jasmine; Rebecca, her husband, Adam, and their children, Ashlyn, Mayn, Baron, Callen and Laston; and Nicholas, his wife, Blair, and their son, Nixon; Fredrick’s wife, Beverly and their daughter, Kaci, her husband, Ben, and their children, Shawne and Emmi; Fredrick’s former wife, Betty and their daughter, Cari, her husband, Robert, and their children, Gage and Zane. Sue has always been accepted as a permanent, respected member of the Pearson family.She was preceded in death by her former father-in-law, William Pearson, but is survived by his wife, Hope, their son, Robert, and his wife, Kathleen; Richard and his wife, Barbara and their sons, Michael; Kevin, his wife, Jennifer and their son, Ethan; daughter, Callie, and her husband, Zachary and their son, Hezekiah. At Sue’s request, she was interred in the Valley View Cemetery in Torrington, Wyoming. Burial was August 15, 2017. Her immediate and extended family miss her kindness and vibrant personalit­y.
