■ Rancho’s Edarian Williams was 2-for3 with a home run, double and five RBIs in the Rams’ 14-2 five-inning victory over Desert Oasis in the Diamondbac­k Kickoff Tournament semifinals.

■ Seth Hoffman of Cimarron-Memorial was 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs in the Spartans’ 10-0 victory over Melba (Idaho) at the K.J. Harrison Classic in St. George, Utah.

■ Christian Younger went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lead Eldorado to a 4-1 victory over Desert Pines in the Sundevil Invitation­al.

Softball

■ Holly Severence homered and drove in three runs to help Desert Oasis beat Silverado 14-6 in six innings in the championsh­ip game of the Colorado River Invitation­al in Needles, California.

■ Mariana Maldonado went 2-for-2 with a homer, two runs and two RBIs to help Eldorado to a 12-2 victory over Del Sol in five innings for Lady Devils tournament championsh­ip.

■ Maggie Whipple went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, five RBIs and three runs to help Faith Lutheran beat Roy (Utah) in five innings at the March WarmUp Tournament.
