Jets land No. 3 pick from Colts for package of picks
The New York Jets shook up the NFL draft by soaring three spots to No. 3 overall in a swap with Indianapolis.
The Jets sent the Colts their firstrounder — No. 6 overall — along with two second-rounders this year and a second-rounder next year.
■ Buccaneers: Defensive end Vinny Curry and center Ryan Jensen, both free agents, agreed to terms with Tampa Bay. Curry, 29, got a two-year, $27 million deal, with $11.5 guaranteed; Jensen, 26, got a four-year, $42 million deal, with $22 million guaranteed.
■ Patriots: Defensive end Adrian Clayborn, 29, and running back Jeremy Hill, 25, both free agents, agreed to terms with New England. Clayborn’s deal is for two years at $12 million.
■ Ravens: Running back Danny Woodhead, 33, who scored 32 touchdowns after entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie out of Division II Chadron State, announced his retirement.
■ Dolphins: Free-agent running back DeMarco Murray, 30, a Bishop Gorman product, will visit Miami on Sunday, the Palm Beach Post reported.
■ Texans: Free-agent safety Tyrann Mathieu, 25, agreed to a one-year deal with Houston worth up to $7 million.
■ Lions: Free-agent running back LeGarrette Blount, 31, agreed to a oneyear, $4.5 million deal with Detroit.
■ Cardinals: Free-agent guard Justin Pugh, 27, agreed to a five-year, $45 million deal with Arizona.
■ Chiefs: Free-agent quarterback Chad Henne, 32, agreed to a two-year deal with Kansas City.
■ Bengals: Free-agent quarterback Matt Barkley, 27, agreed to a two-year deal with Cincinnati.
■ Chargers: Free-agent kicker Caleb Sturgis, 28, agreed to a two-year deal with Los Angeles.
■ Seahawks: Free-agent wide receiver Jaron Brown, 28, agreed to terms with Seattle.
