Dominant Logano rolls to Xfinity victory at Fontana

Joey Logano won the first two stages and cruised to his first NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the season, outpacing Justin Allgaier at the Service King 300 in Fontana, California.

Pole sitter Christophe­r Bell placed third, and fourth-place Austin Dillon was the only other Cup regular aside from Logano in the field of a race that hasn’t been won by an Xfinity regular since 2002.

■ Motor sports: At Gainesvill­e, Fla., Jack Beckman (Funny Car), Clay Millican (Top Fuel), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock), Andrew Hines (Pro Stock Motorcycle) and Mike Castellana (Pro Modified) secured the top qualifying positions for the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornatio­nals.

■ Basketball: Former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis, 32, was arrested and indicted on seven counts of drug possession and distributi­on in Aberdeen, Maryland, police said.

■ Hockey: Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dmitry Kulikov, 27, will undergo surgery for a back injury sustained March 8 and miss at least eight weeks, the team said.
