-

Jenean M. Bergman, passed away April 14, 2018, in Henderson. She was born November 2, 1957, in Marin County, California. Born into a military family, Jenean moved around as a child. She grew up in Hawaii and California, living in Oceanside, Vista, Daly City, Newark, Union City and Fremont. She graduated from Newark Memorial High School in 1975 and received an Associate’s degree from Ohlone College. Jenean’s real passion was cooking and she loved to make meals for family and friends. She also was thrilled to send and receive pictures of food to loved ones and friends. Jenean loved movies, old and new. She had her favorite classics, as well as enjoying new releases. Jenean enjoyed traveling, whether it be foreign countries, cruises or weekend getaways. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved to play jokes on her loved ones. She appreciated music, dancing and playing games with the family (Cribbage and 5 Crowns). She appreciated family ancestry research and making connections with new and distant relatives. She loved old England Royalty, Henry the Eighth and related history. Above all, Jenean loved being a mom (or as many knew her as Mamanean). She became a G-Ma and her love became playing and reading nighttime books with Cody and Macey. She is preceded in death by her father, Ron Grovers. She is survived by her parents, Colleen and Harold Finch; her husband, Lee Bergman, of 40 years; daughters, Carissa and Lauren; grandchildren, Cody and Macey; son-in-law, Ian Taylor; sister Patty Baer, of Colorado; and brother, Mike Grovers, of California. Jeanean was able to visit with many of her loved ones, family, and friends recently. She expressed feeling loved and joy. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Services are planned for a later date in California.
