Our loving mom, Patsy A. Robinson, went to be with the Lord June 5, 2018. She was born January 31, 1932, in Prescott, Arkansas, to Hershel and Irma Wingfield. At a young age, she sang in a musical trio with her sister, Betty, and neighbor friend, often singing on the radio. She loved art, music, dancing and fashion. She moved to Gallup, New Mexico, where in high school she was in theater, cheer leading and student council. Moving on to college at Highland University in Las Vegas, New Mexico, she met her love Orville “Squiffy” Robinson. They had a baby boy, Thomas, and eventually moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico. Later, giving birth to a darling daughter, Catherine. In 1963, they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she immediately got involved in PTA, Campfire Girls and neighborhood projects teaching arts and crafts. She loved cooking and baking and there was always a homemade pie or cake on the counter. Experiencing an empty nest, she went to work at Casual Corner as a fashion consultant to many locals and celebrities. Retiring after 10 years, she traveled often and enjoyed the family’s mountain cabin in Ute Park, New Mexico. Her daughter expresses grateful thanks for love and support to Aunt Betty, Sandra, Phil, Debbie, Will and Debbie and Cassie. Grateful thanks to Hilda, Yvette and Stephanie for being Earth Angels for Mom. Grateful thanks to Grace Garcia, Jinky, Elana, Elizabeth and Mica at Grace of Monaco. Thanks to all of her wonderful neighbors and one of my friends, you know who you are. Join us for a celebration of her life at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N.
