Cody Asche blasted a grand slam to highlight a six-run third inning as the 51s rolled to a 15-2 Pacific Coast League victory over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday at Cashman Field.

Zach Borenstein hit his 17th homer as Las Vegas won its fifth straight game and 10th in their last 12.

Asche’s slam off Bees starter Osmer Morales was the highlight of the third. It marked the second straight game the 51s (3844) hit a grand slam.

In addition to Asche and Borenstein, Luis Guillorme and Johnny Monell homered for the 51s.

Las Vegas scored at least one run in the first, third, fifth, seventh and eighth innings off Salt Lake (44-38) pitching. Asche, Guillorme, Ezequiel Carrera and Jeff McNeil each had three hits for the 51s while Monell and Zach Borenstein added two each.

That was more than enough run support for 51s starter and winner Josh Prevost (1-1), who went five innings and gave up one unearned run on five hits in his second Triple-A start.
