Ryan vouches for Trump’s patience on wall funding

President Donald Trump is “willing to be patient” about getting the funding for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said.

The speaker suggested to the Washington Examiner that Trump and GOP leaders are in agreement that their priority should be to pass as many spending bills as they can before the end of the fiscal year.

“As far as wall funding is concerned … it’s not a question of if. It’s a question of when, and the president is willing to be patient so we can get that done because it is really important,” he said.
