ELAINE GALLAGHER

Elaine Gallagher (nee Powell), 87, of Las Vegas, passed away July 21, 2018, after battling cancer. She was born August 28, 1930, in Fargo, North Dakota, and relocated to Las Vegas at 12 years old. Elaine was a school teacher and was active in golf, Bridge and book club. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert J. Gallagher; and her brother, David Powell. She is survived by her sister, June Pralle; sister-in-law, Karen Powell; daughter, Cheryl Gallagher; sons, Patrick (Kari), Jeffrey (Lynda) and Timothy; and daughter, Coleen Seifman (Tom). Her legacy includes 16 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 4, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. Reception to follow.
