Richard F. Noonan Jr. 56, passed away unexpected­ly July 20, 2018. Richard was born June 3, 1962, to Richard F. Noonan Sr. and Donna Lewis Noonan, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and was a 38-year resident of Las Vegas. His father served in the U.S. Army for many years engaging the family to travel and live in multiple cities. The Noonans would eventually settle in Columbus, Ohio. Richard was very proud to call Ohio his home. He ventured out to Las Vegas in 1980 with his family. Richard had a gift for conversati­on and could easily relate with anyone, anywhere and people would always respond favorably. Noonan’s knack for conversati­on served him well when he frequently gave from his heart to those in need. Richard was a tenderhear­ted philanthro­pist. His career path led him to many cities as well and eventually brought him and his wife, Lorraine, to the city he loved the most, Seattle, Washington. Richard was an accomplish­ed leader, most recently serving Curo Management LLC., as a Regional Director. He enjoyed his job very much. His responsibi­lities were inclusive of eight states with over 40 locations. He was a trusted friend and mentor to many that he worked with. Richard touched numerous lives over his career. He greatly respected his esteemed colleagues and truly adored his outstandin­g staff. He was an avid sports fan as well. Passionate about the Pittsburgh Steelers, a lifelong fan of Notre Dame football and if he could squeeze it in, a good round of golf. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard F. Noonan Sr. and Donna Lewis Noonan; and nephew, Anthony Lewis. He is survived by his deeply beloved wife and cherished friend, of 34 years, Lorraine A. Noonan; sister, RaDonna Noonan; brother, Robert Lewis (Martha); sister-in-law, Ruth Kizer (Rod); beloved cousin, Michael Rotolo (Linda); nieces, Rachael Musser, Kelly Moore (Sean), Gabrielle Lewis, Samantha Lewis and Analiza Lewis; nephews, Darrell Powell Jr. and Don Kizer; grandniece­s, Scarlett, Anne, Michaela, Genevieve and Katie Musser, Elizabella, and Sophia Kizer; grandnephe­ws, Niklaus Kizer and Frederick Musser; and numerous other family, friends and colleagues. He loved all of them very much. Celebratio­n of life service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11, at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89130. In lieu of flowers, the family requests kind considerat­ion of donations to the Salvation Army of Southern Nevada at salvationa­rmyso uthernneva­da.org or to The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society at LVVHumane. org in the name of Richard F. Noonan. He was grateful to be able reach out to the homeless, and of course, contribute to the rescue of our furry friends.
