-

Our beloved Bertha Louise Moore Craddock passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at her home, with loved ones by her side. Louise was delivered by her own grandmother March 6, 1935, in Nickelsville, Virginia. She was the funny, feisty, sassy first borne child of her parents, Hubert A. Moore and Olene Parks Moore. In 1953, Louise met the love of her life, Robert Glen Craddock, who was just out of the U.S. Navy and they were married in February 1954. Shortly after their marriage, they relocated to upstate New York and then back to Tennessee in 1959, where Louise gave birth to the first of two sons, Jay Gregory. Robert Michael was born in 1964 after relocating again to Las Vegas. She loved her hillbilly roots and Appalachian heritage. She took pride in the southern accent that she held on to for 55 years in Nevada. Louise was an avid Eldorado High School fan and she loved the children of the neighborhood.
