Report: Scioscia to step down as Angels manager after 2018
Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia is expected to step down at the end of this season, The Athletic reported.
Scioscia, 59, is in the final year of a 10-year contract, and the decision not to seek a new contract reportedly is Scioscia’s alone.
Scioscia is in his 19th season guiding the Angels, who are 55-57. They last won a postseason series in 2009, after winning the World Series in 2002 under Scioscia.
