■ Red Sox 5-6, Orioles 0-4 — At Baltimore, J.D. Martinez hit two home runs, including a tiebreakin­g two-run drive in the eighth, helping Boston cap a sweep. David Price (12-6) struck out 10 over six shutout innings, backed by Jackie Bradley Jr.’s two homers, in the opener.

■ Indians 3, White Sox 1 — At Chicago, Michael Brantley and Jose Ramirez hit consecutiv­e homers in the sixth to back Trevor Bauer (12-6), who allowed one run and struck out eight over 6 1/3 innings before being struck in the right leg by a line drive and exiting.

■ Yankees 5, Rangers 3 — At New York, Aroldis Chapman struck out Jurickson Profar with the bases loaded in a steady rain to end the game, and rookie Miguel Andujar hit a tiebreakin­g two-run homer in the seventh for New York.

■ Athletics 7, Angels 0 — At Anaheim, Calif., Marcus Semien homered twice to back Edwin Jackson (4-2), who allowed three hits and struck out six over 7 1/3 shutout innings, as Oakland won for the eighth time in 10 games.

■ Mariners 3, Astros 2 — At Houston, Ryon Healy had three hits and drove in the go-ahead run, and center fielder Guillermo Heredia made a spectacula­r, leadpreser­ving catch in the eighth for Seattle.

■ Phillies 5, Padres 1 — At San Diego, Maikel Franco and Cesar Hernandez homered to back Aaron Nola (13-3), who allowed four hits over six shutout innings, as Philadelph­ia moved one game up on Atlanta atop the NL East.

■ Reds 6, Diamondbac­ks 3 — At Cincinnati, pinch hitter Tucker Barnhart’s two-run double highlighte­d a four-run eighth for Cincinnati, which dealt Arizona a second straight loss for the first time in more than two weeks.

■ Nationals 9, Cubs 4 — At Chicago, Ryan Zimmerman hit two home runs and totaled six RBIs against Jon Lester (12-5), who was tagged for eight earned runs on 10 hits over 3 2/3 innings.

■ Brewers 4, Braves 2 — At Atlanta, Mike Moustakas hit a two-run double in Milwaukee’s three-run eighth, and Josh Hader struck out three in two shutout innings to notch a save.

■ Marlins 4, Mets 3 — At Miami, Bryan Holaday delivered a pinch-hit walk-off RBI single with one out in the 11th for Miami, which overcame a 3-0 deficit after Todd Frazier’s three-run double in the fourth.

■ Pirates 4, Giants 0 — At San Francisco, Josh Bell homered to back Trevor Williams (10-8), who allowed five hits and walked one over seven shutout innings, after San Francisco retired Barry Bonds’ jersey.
