Joseph Paul Honey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 17, 2018. Paul was born August 6, 1932 in Kanab, Utah. Paul married Maxine in the LDS temple in Saint George, Utah. He served our country in the Korean War and was awarded two Bronze Stars. He resided in Henderson for 63 years and retired with the Teamsters Union. Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with family at the cabin he and his sons built in Duck Creek, Utah. He could build, repair or make anything. He and Maxine also enjoyed serving their church in various callings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Violet Lewis Honey and Joseph William Honey, as well as his brothers, Don and Marlo. Paul is survived by his devoted wife, of 65 years, Maxine; sons, Brent (Cindy), Curt, Craig and Doug (Pam); grandsons, Ryan (Kylie), Jordan and Colton (Olivia); greatgrand­son, Carson Paul; and sister, Beverly Barnson. Paul was loved and admired by all who had the good fortune to know him and he will be sorely missed. Viewing is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 followed by the funeral service at 9 a.m. at the LDS Cholla Chapel, 303 South Cholla Street, Henderson, NV 89015, with graveside service at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, at noon. Thomas Gordon Moler Sr., 76, passed away August 31, 2018, after a short battle with cancer. Thomas was born October 24, 1941 in Santa Monica, California. When Tom was two his parents made their home in Las Vegas, where Tom attended Bishop Gorman High School, graduating in 1959. After graduation, Tom worked with Dick Williams Realty. He later moved into partnershi­p with Roberts Realty in Las Vegas. In 1986 Tom founded Tom Moler Realty, retiring in 2016. Tom’s friendship with “Bill” spanned 30 years. Tom was an avid Cribbage player; he also enjoyed movies, Bingo and hunting. Tom lived life to the fullest. His advice was to be happy, and enjoy your family. He will be missed by family and friends. As Tom would say, “All is well.” Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 26 at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89107.
