No. 5 Oklahoma 28, Army 21, OT —

At Norman, Okla., Kyler Murray threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb in overtime for the Sooners (4-0), and cornerback Parnell Motley intercepte­d Kelvin Hopkins’ fourth-down pass on the ensuing possession by the Black Knights (2-2). Army ran for 183 yards in the first half, possessing the ball for 22 of the 30 minutes. Overall, the Knights held the ball for 44:41 and ran 87 plays to Oklahoma’s 40. Linebacker Kenneth Murray had a Sooners-record 28 tackles.

No. 12 West Virginia 35, Kansas State 6 —

At Morgantown, W.Va., Will Grier passed for 356 yards and five touchdowns, three to David Sills, and Marcus Simms had five catches for 136 yards and a score for the Mountainee­rs (3-0, 1-0). The Wildcats (2-2, 0-1) were outgained 464-318 in yards of offense.

Texas Tech 41, No. 15 Oklahoma State 17 —

At Stillwater, Okla., Alan Bowman passed for 397 yards and two touchdowns for the Red Raiders (3-1, 1-0), who amassed 621 yards of offense and halted a nine-game losing streak to the Cowboys (3-1, 0-1). Justice Hill ran for 111 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, the 10th straight game he has scored, for Oklahoma State.

Texas 31, No. 17 Texas Christian 16 —

At Austin, Texas, Sam Ehlinger passed for two touchdowns and ran for a score, all in the second half, for the Longhorns (3-1, 1-0), who trailed 16-10 before forcing three thirdquart­er turnovers by quarterbac­k Shawn Robinson. The Horned Frogs (2-2, 0-1) had outscored Texas 15333 in their past four meetings.

■ At Waco, Texas, Charlie Brewer threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns for the Bears (3-1, 1-0), who led 23-0 at intermissi­on. Freshman Pooka Williams’ 72-yard run in the third quarter set up the lone TD for the Jayhawks (2-2, 0-1).

At Ames, Iowa, David Montgomery ran for 107 yards and a touchdown for the Cyclones (1-2), who held the Zips (2-1) to 244 yards of offense and kept them from starting a play inside the Iowa State 20.
